Former US Intelligence Officer Warns of Imminent US Attack on Iran

He warned the economic fallout would be severe, risking a collapse of the U.S. dollar and triggering uncontrollable energy prices worldwide. Ritter suggested the objective may have shifted from targeting Iran's nuclear program to facilitating the country's fragmentation by backing separatist groups, a plan he believes is based on a flawed assessment of Iran's internal stability and military preparedness.
