Trump Says U.S. Would Support Strikes Targeting Iran’s Missile Program

U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States would support military strikes against Iran’s missile program if Israel chose to carry out such action, signaling a firm stance as tensions escalate in the Middle East.

Trump made the remarks following discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasizing that Iran’s missile capabilities pose a significant security threat. He said Washington remains committed to preventing Tehran from expanding weapons systems that could destabilize the region.

While Trump stressed that the U.S. prefers diplomatic solutions, he indicated that military options remain on the table if Iran continues advancing its missile program. He also reiterated that any action would be closely coordinated with allies.

Iran has repeatedly denied seeking broader conflict, insisting its missile program is defensive in nature. However, recent rhetoric and military activity have raised concerns among Western and regional governments about the risk of further escalation.
